The what: A fireside chat series, hosted by the Chief Product Officer of Meetup, where we'll learn from senior-level product leaders and dig into their stories, challenges, tactics, aspirations and insights. We welcome questions from the audience, and make sure that attendees have a chance to mingle and learn from each other. We'll also run the occasional unconference-style get-together.
The why: We seek to learn from some of the best out there, and in doing so help more people achieve product excellence and professional progress.
The who: The majority of the room is product managers ranging from junior to CPOs, but we also welcome designers, engineers, and product marketers interested in the topics.
Our next meetup will be a fireside chat with Inessa Lurye (bio below), Dec 1st at 5:30pm ET. I think you'll find her thoughtfulness and product values and approaches really interesting. We'll kick off with the chat and then go into smaller breakout rooms for those who can stick around.
Inessa was most recently the VP of Product at Yesware, a Product-Led company that helps salespeople optimize communication and improve outcomes, where she oversaw product, design, and product marketing. She led Yesware’s transition from planning around product outputs to planning around customer outcomes.
Previously, Inessa held product leadership roles at several mission-driven, venture-funded startups. She is passionate about being customer-driven and using technology to improve the way we live. Inessa started her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
She holds an MBA with Highest Distinction from the Harvard Business School, an MPP from the Kennedy School of Government, and a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, from Swarthmore College.
She is an avid photographer residing in Cambridge, MA.
