Join us for this special presentation, in conjunction with Utah Tech Week, as we review the principles of logic with Josh Brekel from the U of U Philosophy Department.

Most of us believe we are rational humans. We may even credit our success to logical decision making. But are we really as rational as we think we are? Do we adhere to the principles of logic and reasoning?

With the rise of AI, critical thinking emerges as a recurring theme to apply these new technologies and survive in today’s environment. Logic, reasoning and critical thinking are core competencies of philosophy.

Adjunct instructor Josh Brekel from the U of U Philosophy Department will lead us through an overview of “Intro to Logic.” If you never had the opportunity to take a philosophy class, (or simply need a refresher), this lecture is for you.

The principles of logic can help everyone make better decisions and navigate the uncertainties in the age of AI.
