What we’re about

ProductTank provides an opportunity for Product Managers in London to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.

Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.

Watch our previous streamings on our Youtube channel.

If you'd like to speak, then please send us your ideas here.

We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

We also have a blog, where we encourage the community to get engaged by commenting on or writing new posts for http://www.mindtheproduct.com, as well as the world's largest product conferences http://mtpcon.com

Join us for our next ProductTank London event on The Sweet Spot: Where Business Goals and Customer Experience Actually Meet

    Our speakers:
Alison Howard - Service Design Consultant
Alison is a Product and Service Design consultant with over 13 years’ experience working with global brands including HSBC, Trainline, BP Pulse, Expedia and Emirates. She helps teams connect great design with measurable business impact, turning friction between Product Managers and Designers into real collaboration. Alison has led cross-functional teams across travel, finance and energy, designing products that deliver both customer value and commercial results.

Every product team knows the tension between hitting business goals and creating great customer experiences. In this talk, Alison shares practical ways Product Managers and Designers can align, uncovering the root causes of misalignment, turning debates into data, building trust and buy-in, and bringing the wider business along for the ride.

    Janet Bumpas - Product Advisor
Janet Bumpas comes from Silicon Valley where she was part of three startups: one went public, one was acquired by eBay, and one crashed and burned. She loves all aspects of growing an idea through launch and then building it in the marketplace. Usually, she focuses on product, working with customers to understand their needs and translates these into a product. Currently, she lives in the Netherlands where she works both with entrepreneurs helping them to launch and scale new business ideas. She has run accelerator programs for entrepreneurs and intrapraneurs and really enjoys both working with teams and facilitating larger group workshops.

Janet has also consulted many of the world’s leading organizations on growth and profitability strategies. After receiving her MBA from The Harvard Business School, she worked at BCG. She later worked at Razorfish as a Senior Strategist where she advised corporate clients on how to profitably use the Internet to further their corporate goals. Finally, Janet has extensive experience in international development (World Health Organization, the World Bank, TechnoServe, and as a consultant to several other international development organizations).

Lydia Hooker - Senior Product Manager @ Moonpig
Lydia is a Senior Product Manager at Moonpig Group leading the Moonpig and Greetz apps end-to-end. She brings experience across events, healthcare startups and most recently at EE where she launched and owned the app's Subscription Manager and identified new app-only features to drive app engagement. Lydia has helped organisations move into new digital areas and champions app-first thinking that translates engagement into measurable results.

When a team truly knows who they are and who they’re for, magic happens. Lydia will reveal how Moonpig’s app team use a shared identity to focus, connect emotionally with users, and drive lasting customer and business impact.

Surajan Singh - Senior Product Manager @ Sokin, will be our host for the evening.
