Hello Product People !
We are happy to invite you to the next meetup. This time the meetup willl be in form of panel discussion on an interesting topic proposed by Martin who you may know from our community. As always discussion will be followed by networking part.
From Martin about the panel:
"We all bring our whole selves to work. There's no real split between our "private" life and our "work" life.
One of the most constant, natural experiences we all share is getting older. It's the context for everything we do, yet we rarely make it the main topic of conversation. We just treat it as the background.
So, for this evening, let's just talk about that.
I've invited three of my colleagues Beata Kupiec, Bart Czarnecki and Maciek Pabian to sit down and share some personal reflections. We'll talk about what the passage of time means to us, how it shapes our days, and how we feel about it.
This isn't a panel of experts with answers. It's a simple, honest conversation. Our only goal is to connect on this theme that is common to us all, and hopefully, to share a valuable evening. You are very welcome to join the discussion."
About Panelists:
Martin Hudymač
I am a product manager who believes our past experiences are “priceless ingredients” that shape who we are. My own path began with a passion for literature and philosophy—a perspective I carried into my work with teams and business stakeholders. I’ve applied it through my journey as a scrum master, a delivery manager, and now as a product manager. Tonight, I bring that same humanistic curiosity to the stage to guide our conversation.
Bart Czarnecki
I build products. Started doing it in my own startups—one got acquired, one is still running. Then I did it at enterprises such as Splunk and Guidewire. What matters to me is solving actual problems for actual people, not what looks good in a roadmap deck. I'm pragmatic and empirical - I care about what works in reality, not what should work in theory. My approach is mostly derived from sports and the way athletes approach achieving goals. I have a background in sports, having been a competitive snowboarder, and I am currently aspiring to be the most average ultra trail runner.
Maciej Pabian
I’m a product leader who strongly believes that craft matters more than domain knowledge. In my work, I focus on people, communication, and building truly empowered product teams. Over the past years, I’ve had the privilege of shaping products and teams across both big tech organizations and fast-moving startups. Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father, as well as a passionate mountain sports enthusiast, especially into snowboarding and enduro MTB.
Beata Kupiec
I’m a classical philologist by education who somehow found her way into the world of product management - and I’ve loved the journey ever since. For over 15 years, working as Product Manager and Product Leader, I’ve been building software products and leading product teams, helping ideas grow into solutions that make a real difference for users and businesses.
My motto is simple: “Build products for people and with people.” I care deeply about understanding real customer needs and solving meaningful problems, but just as much about creating open, honest communication and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
I also believe that “sharing is caring” , that’s why I organize ProductTank Kraków and give lectures on “Effective Communication in Product Teams” at AGH University of Science and Technology, as part of the User Experience & Product Design studies.
