This is a talk for product managers and leaders who are looking to build their research toolkit. Whether you partner with UX, outsource your research, or get it done on your own, it’s critical for product managers to understand research best practices – the data and insights we collect are the fuel for building great products.

This session focuses on getting answers with limited time and budget, and you’ll walk away with easy-to-follow frameworks and tips that will enable you to test your most pressing hypotheses within 5 working days. As a result, you’ll be able to make swift, confident decisions that will help you improve the value of your product.

Speakers:
Steve Cook: 25-year product veteran who learned best practices over 13 years at Intuit (QuickBooks, TurboTax) as a product and customer experience leader. Since then, he has built product and UX teams for mid-market companies and startups as well as served as founder, advisor, and executive (CPO, COO). He currently is a product advisor and executive coach for Product Rebels, Transcend and McKinsey & Co.

Kirsten Thayer: product and UX leader with 20+ years’ experience in the financial, automotive and entertainment industries.
