Panel Meetup: Product Analytics Dreams vs Reality

Details

What do PM’s actually track?

This panel meetup will discuss the myth of being ‘data driven’ in product decisions.
A panel of product managers, from companies at different stages and viewpoints will discuss how they track their product analytics, metrics and KPIs, and how useful these are in the process of decision making.

The discussion will include the following questions:

  • How much usage/analytics data do you track?
  • Who is in charge of the analytics data?
  • Does a product team need an analyst?
  • How much time/effort does it make sense to spend on setting up tracking systems?
  • How available is the data - who has access to it?
  • How is the data used in decision making?
  • How useful is the data? When and how do you use it?
  • What are the limitations/downsides of using this data for decision making?
