About us
ProductTank is for anyone even remotely interested in the world of product!
You might already be in a product role (Product Owner, Product Manager, Head of Product, CPO...), or work with them, aspire to be one, want to hire one, be curious about what the heck they do... you're all welcome and we're sure to cover a topic at some point that might pique your interest.
We meet most months in the city, have amazing guest speaker(s) and panels, and always make time to drink, nibble and mingle. All our meetups are live streamed and recorded, so if you can't make it in person, we've got you covered.
And finally, if a monthly meetup still isn't enough product talk for you, we have a New Zealand wide Product Aotearoa Slack group waiting for you - join here.

The ProductTank Meetup concept was created by Mind the Product. To find out more and connect with a global community, check out http://www.mindtheproduct.com. They also have a global Slack workspace, where you can connect with a planet's worth of ProductTank people. Join here.

5 Uncommon Interview Tips for Product People
PartsTrader, Level 4, 15 Willeston Street, Wellington, NZJoin Tokes for our next ProductTank Wellington event! A big thank you to PartsTrader for hosting, feeding and providing the drinks - we really appreciate the support :)
A bit about the talk from Tokes:
"I've interviewed over 500 product people and reviewed 1000s of applications!
OK, that's a lie, it's probably closer to 60 interviews 100s of applications but it highlights this free bonus tip; go easy on the hyperbole! You're in NZ and we lean in to keeping it real! Be proud of what you've achieved but talk more about what it took to get there, what you learnt and less time exaggerating the results :)
With that in mind, it matters less about how many interviews I've done or applications I've looked at, and much more about what I've seen and heard that made some candidates rise above the others. And that's what I'm going to share with ya'll.
So, whether you're going for a Product Owner or Chief Product Officer role, you'll hopefully find something amongst these less common tips to make an excellent first impression."
