About the speakers

Dimo Mitev is a Software Engineering Manager for Kinvey and NativeChat cloud products at Progress with more than 19 years of experience. Before stepping into the management role, he was working as a QA Engineer. While being actively engaged in the software testing process, which is an essential part of the Software Development Lifecycle, he has gained significant experience in different software testing types, including but not limited to functional, web service, performance, security, and automation testing. Passionate about teaching in the QA and DevOps area.

George Ribarski has been with Progress for over 5 years now and has previous experience in Networking & Security. Being able to work in an international company with a wide portfolio and technologies has only motivated him to start looking into the Software Development Lifecycle of the product teams and how security can be integrated and automated. During the last few years, his career has shifted drastically towards DevOps and DevSecOps, and is currently one of the SME's for adopting the OWASP SAMM framework for the whole organization. Besides work, Georgi is also incredibly passionate about concerts and music.
