Kristian Mariyanov, Senior Principal, Software Engineer
As a senior principal software engineer, Kristian develops innovative AI-powered components and features for the leading developer tools, Progress Telerik and Progress Kendo UI. One of the latest innovations Kristian has worked on is the creation of AI coding assistants for the popular frameworks, Blazor and React, that help developers build apps faster without compromising quality. Kristian often consults other engineering teams on integrating AI into their products. He joined Progress in 2019. He is passionate about exploring emerging technologies.

Stefan Stefanov, Senior Product Manager
In his role as Senior Product Manager, Stefan is the connection between customers and engineering teams for Progress Telerik and Progress Kendo UI. He conducts extensive research among customers to understand their needs and challenges and works closely with engineering teams to offer effective solutions. Stefan has extensive experience as a developer and an in-depth understanding of both technical capabilities and product strategies. Currently, he is focused on exploring practical ways to use AI to improve the workflow and drive meaningful results for the company’s customers.

Kaloyan Nikolov, Director, Software Engineering
Kaloyan leads the team developing AI-powered tools for Progress Sitefinity, a content management and digital experience platform. These solutions include MCP servers, which save time for web developers when building software solutions, as well as AI agents that help marketers achieve their goals more efficiently and quickly. Kaloyan joined Progress in 2013 as a senior software developer and over the years has taken on various positions, applying his vision, approach and leadership into product development and leading teams to success.

Iliyan Iliev, Senior Director, Software Engineering
Iliyan, together with his team, is responsible for the development of desktop and mobile components for some of the most popular application development frameworks – .NET MAUI, WinUI and WinForms. His teams also work on reporting tools Progress Telerik Reporting, network traffic monitoring tool Progress Fiddler, testing tool Test Studio and WS_FTP, a product for secure and reliable file transfer used by thousands of organizations worldwide for automation and secure data exchange. The new AI initiatives his team is working on enable significantly faster development and deployment of intelligent solutions. Iliyan joined Progress 15 years ago, progressing from intern to senior director.
