Project Management World’s sixth mini-conference will be held in April or early May in-person in Santa Clara County, CA. A team of enthusiastic volunteers will create this 3-hour event. The tentative form for this mini-conference is small teams of participants creating a product (perhaps a game or toy). Working together is the best networking possible!
Event team members will benefit by giving back to the Project Management profession, networking, learning new skills, adding to their resumes and profiles, gaining PDUs if applicable, and fun! The team formed recently includes a co-event project manager, a marketing chair, one logistic co-chair, and a finance chair. These roles are open:
- A second event co-project manager
- A second logistic co-chair
- A few more marketers to attract participants and sponsors
- Facilitators to design the workshop including goals, guidelines, materials, coaching, evaluations, and awards.
Attend this planning event to become a part of this dynamic team that will make many decisions in this meeting.
