This months Industry Expert will be Adam Pennisi from Adpen who will be speaking on the subject of capital raising through Co-Development in order to execute larger projects than you can do using your funds alone.

Through a range of Co-Development approaches Adpen currently has over $200m of projects underway and Adam is going to show you how you can do the same.

This month's Real Deal presentation comes from Allister Sarris from Sarris International and was a project were he developed his existing home into 2 x Townhouses with basement parking. The plan was to develop the property, sell 1 Townhouse and then keep the other debt free.

Unfortunately, the project kicked off when the GFC hit so Finance was all of a sudden hard to come by. Finding a Builder also proved difficult, and then the Builder they engaged went 'bust' 1 month in, causing unnecessary delays and further difficulties obtaining more money to fund the project, after their original Builder held onto their funds!!

Come listen to Allister as he talks through the twists and turns of his deal, he'll remind you why it's ALWAYS important to have contingency in place for unexpected set backs.

As with all Real Deals though you will learn from the experience of others within the group as they present their own deals, and see what can go right and what can go wrong in their project, what profit they projected and then what profit they actually achieved.
