Talk #1: Creating Your Own Ethical Framework
Speaker: Hanna Landrus
Description: What does it mean to build ethical technology in a world that moves faster than regulation? After years of shipping AI features, I shifted gears to teach a college course on Ethics and AI. This talk shares lessons from that transition—along with a step-by-step process to help you define a personal ethical framework you can use to make better decisions at any stage of your tech career.
Lightning talk #1: Bits and Bytes (Beginner to All Level Coders)
Speaker: Luke Grant
Description: Discussing about the meaning of bits and bytes and why they are important for both the Informational Technology Industry and the world of users. This talk is meant to be easy to understand for all coders, including those who have never coded before or are experts in the field.

Since this is a talk format meetup, you don't need a computer. Food will be provided by Slalom.
Building access:
Upon entry to the Slalom Hawk Tower, go to the building elevator bank, tap "18" on the panel and you'll be directed to the correct elevator #. At the 18th floor, please show your Meetup registration to the person at the door. Please note that the elevator bank for Slalom is separate from the one for the Embassy Suites that is also in the building.
The elevators lock at 6pm so if you arrive after 6pm, please do the following:
1. Join our slack channel (http://slack.pspython.com)
2. Navigate to the #general channel
3. Post in the "Accessing the talk night venue after 6pm" thread that you need to be let in and an organizer will assist you.

Transportation:
- The Seattle office is accessible by car, bus, bike, train (Link light rail and Sounder train), and ferry.
- Onsite parking is available in the Hawk Tower Garage. The garage entrance is located at Stadium Place S, on the west side of the building. Garage hours are 6:00am-11:30pm. You can access the building lobby from the parking garage elevator.
- Other parking options include street parking, Stadium Place Garage, Lumen Field North Lot, and Union Station Garage.
- Please note, Slalom does not validate parking.
