Death Awareness and Psychedelic Yoga: A Professional Workshop
Most of us were never taught how to be with death, our own or our clients', or the smaller dissolutions that surface again and again in psychedelic states. This workshop is about building that capacity as an embodied practice rather than a concept.
Robin Silver, an eco-psychologist and death doula whose work centers on mortality awareness and grief, joins the PYRC team of psychedelic yogis (Henry Kandel, Tamara Behar, and Ethan Seidel) for an afternoon of real collaboration. Robin brings her experience guiding people through death awareness and grief. The yogis bring body-mind practices, drawn from their own years of practice and offered from direct experience, designed to support that work. Together we look at how those practices can live inside the clinical encounter, not as technique laid over it but as something woven through.
This is designed for therapists, clinicians, and healers working with psychedelics and end-of-life experience. You'll leave with practices, grounded in both yogic and clinical experience, that you can bring to your work with clients and to your own life. If you're not a clinician but want to engage with this material at this depth, you're welcome too.
2.5 CE credits, approved through the Spiritual Competency Academy (APA-accredited). Accepted for psychologists, social workers, counselors, MFTs, nurses, and other licensed practitioners. Check with your state board for specific acceptance.
Sunday, June 21, 2:00–4:30pm ET, on Zoom.
