About us

This group hosts occasional, standalone educational workshops focused on understanding how psychological and nervous system processes shape everyday experience.

Many people live with anxiety, stress, and emotional reactivity without ever being taught how these systems actually work. The purpose of these workshops is to offer the public a clearer, more informed understanding of the underlying mechanisms — not to fix or treat experience, but to reduce confusion, self-blame, and unnecessary fear through knowledge.

Events are psychoeducational, not therapy or support groups, and are designed to offer clarity and conceptual orientation rather than personal processing or advice. Topics may include anxiety, stress, regulation, grief, and how the nervous system influences perception, emotion, and behavior.

There is no expectation of sharing personal experiences, and participation is entirely optional. Events are offered intermittently, with no expectation of ongoing participation.

I am a licensed psychologist and former graduate-level professor with over 13 years of experience teaching the biological foundations of behavior. I have worked in both clinical and forensic settings, and my focus is on translating complex psychological and nervous system concepts into clear, accessible education for the public.
