Welcome to Public Works! This Nerd Night-style event hosts monthly lectures at local bars on a variety of intellectually stimulating topics! Wire new brain cells by learning! Destroy old brain cells by drinking! It's a perfect combination.

In general we'll have one or more speakers giving talks of various lengths, typically 20-40 minutes depending on the topic, speaker background, and number of speakers that night.
We welcome potential speakers to send us abstracts (a talk summary a few paragraphs in length) on any topic that a bunch of intellectually minded drinkers might want to hear about.
