How to attack in chess, for kids and teens

Details

At the request of some of the attendees, we will focus on how to conduct an attack in chess. Some topics we'll cover will be gaining a space advantage, piece activity and pawn breaks.

If anyone doesn't know how the pieces move, we'll cover that too. Children and teens of all ages are welcome. We will play games and have fun. Boards and sets are provided.

We meet in the Fireplace Room of the Putnam Valley Library, 30 Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley NY 10579. 2-3:30 PM.
