About us
The Putney Social Group is friendly and welcomes people from all over London (and indeed the World). We organise a variety of Social Events every month, usually in Putney but we do go further afield too.
Events we regularly run include…
**Our very Popular "New Members make lots of new Friends Night" - Where you get a chance to meet lots of new people in one evening! You are seated with 4 people to chat for 15-20 mins, then (a bit like musical chairs) everyone gets up and moves to another table to meet another group of 4 people. Then we keep swapping the groups around every 15-20 Minutes, to give you the best chance to meet lots of people in 1 night.
**Social Meet Ups - Where we try to reserve a separate area for the group to come together in a pub and meet other Putney Social members.
**We also run a monthly Co-Working Day for Freelancers on the last Friday of the month.
**In the summer months we have our Social Meet Ups by the river next to Putney cinema and attract 60-100 people.
Any member in our group can suggest events and we welcome certainly new ideas. We're currently thinking about wine tasting and maybe a secret cinema event, so do join the group.

Boat Cruise - Kingston Pier + DJ
Hi All,
The ticket prices have started at £20 and will go up to £50, released in stages. 80-90 tickets for sale, which is below the total boat's capacity. Any refunds given will exclude booking and transaction fee. Ticket cancellation and full refund allowed up to 1 week before the cruise, then 50% refund up to 49 hours before the cruise. No refunds within 48 hours of the cruise.

Yes, it’s finally happening…a BOAT CRUISE from Kingston pier and back for three hours with a DJ. The DJ will play tunes we request, as the whole boat is hired for us.
We will see London in the daylight and at night. We will also be passing a 'Boat Lock' where you'll get to experience how a boat moves through two different levels of water. The route will be either up toward the Sunbury route or down to the Richmond route; they cannot say exactly at this time.
The lower deck of the boat is fully enclosed with a sitting area. The upper deck has a sitting area, a dance floor, and access to an open area to the outside of the boat. Naturally, they have a full licenced bar. The corkage fee is £12.00 per 75cl bottle of sparkling or still wine; this is the only product they allow corkage on.
Look forward to seeing the usual suspects as well as new members for interesting views, great vibes, silly dancing, and simply socialising. Making it a great one-off, unique event. So don't miss the boat (sorry, couldn't resist 😂)
