What we're about

Meet fellow Calgarians interested in Python! Do you use Python, and want to advance your knowledge? Have you built something interesting in Python, or figured out something tricky, that you want to share with others? Do you just want to chat?

You can do all of that and more at PyYYC!

On the 4th Wednesday of every month, we have:

• A talk about something Python related

• Pizza

• A chance to work hands-on with some Python code related to the talk

• Post-meetup socializing at a nearby restaurant or pub

It’s helpful to bring a laptop to work through what’s discussed in the talks. Slides and code are often published afterwards at https://pyyyc.org/

Presentation details will be added later, and then the meetup will open for RSVPs. Doors will open shortly before 6. There will be pizza and mingling, and we’ll also give away a free PyCharm license courtesy of JetBrains. Then the talk should start around 6:30. Please join us afterwards at a nearby pub for some socializing. Water, juice, and soft drinks will all be available at the pub; there is no requirement to drink alcohol. There is a City of Calgary parking lot just north of Assembly at 203 - 14 St NW. Parking is $2 if you arrive after 6:00 p.m.
