Talk: No Trust Without Assurance: Making Sense of Generative AI Risk
Everyone is shipping generative AI but far fewer can prove it's safe. David Molyneux, PhD researcher at the University of Hull and former internal audit and data governance practitioner, cuts through the noisy vocabulary of "trustworthy", "responsible" and "ethical" AI to reveal the ten risk domains beneath the labels, drawn from his systematic review of over 400 papers.
Expect real-world incidents, a live experiment with the whole room, and practical takeaways: a clear map of GenAI risk, why assessing it is judgement rather than arithmetic, and what it really takes to move from managing risk to assuring it.
