The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.
We aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference with novice to advanced-level presentations. We value the participation of each member of the PyData community and want everyone to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all members are expected to show respect and courtesy to each other at all times.
PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The PyDataย Code of Conductย governs this meetup. We'll have a mix of technical talks and community discussion covering Python, data, AI, automation, and other interesting projects from within the community.
Speakers and topics will be announced closer to the event.
There will also be plenty of time to chat, ask questions, share ideas, and meet other people working with or learning Python.
The goal is to keep things informal, technical, and community-focused โ no sales pitches, just interesting conversations and useful ideas.

Interested in speaking?
We're always looking for people who would like to share a project, idea, technical challenge, lesson learned, or something interesting they've been working on.
Talks don't need to be highly polished or advanced. If you've built something interesting with Python, AI, data, automation, APIs, hardware, or related technologies, we'd love to hear about it.
Terms and Conditions
PyData is a free community event.
Climbing is completely optional and is not required to attend the talks.
