A real-time e-commerce personalisation pipeline using Django, Kafka and Apache Spark. Django captures product and category views, Kafka streams the click data, and Spark analyses it to identify each user’s preferred categories. The results are returned to Django as JSON and used to personalise product recommendations.
Phalo Mihlanli:
Mapping API endpoints to uncover security weaknesses. Endpoint analysis is the process of identifying, mapping, and understanding API endpoints to discover security weaknesses. Before exploiting an API, an attacker must fully understand what endpoints exist, how they behave, and what data they expose. This talk explains how It's just marked down though understanding API endpoints — their requests, parameters, and responses — can reveal common weaknesses such as excessive data exposure and broken authorization, showing how small design decisions can lead to serious API vulnerabilities.
