PyData Leeds is the Leeds Chapter of the International PyData Community.
This is a community group for Yorkshire-based Data folk who want to get involved in the ever-growing Yorkshire tech sector.
PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies.
PyData promotes a welcoming environment where everyone is valued, respected and included.
PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organisation in the United States.

Join us for a hands-on evening where you'll build a first predictive model using one of the most famous datasets in data science. No ML experience? Perfect, we'll guide you from zero to your first working model.Using real passenger data from the Titanic, you'll analyse patterns and build a model to predict survival. Will age matter more than class? Did being in a certain cabin make a difference? You'll discover the answers by building your own ML solution.
