In this hands-on workshop, we'll learn to run containers, write Dockerfiles, optimize images with multi-stage builds, and orchestrate multi-containers apps with Compose!
Do you want to get started with Docker and containers?
Or perhaps you've already run some containers, built some images, and now you want to go farther by learning best practices as well as tips & tricks to optimize the way you work with containers?
Then this workshop is for you!
We'll cover:

  • Docker fundamental concepts (starting with "docker run"!)
  • Building images with Dockerfiles
  • Optimizing builds: reducing build time and image size
  • Orchestrating multi-container apps with Compose

You'll apply what you learn thanks to numerous interactive labs. We'll give you some demo apps to containerize, but feel free to bring your own apps too for personalized guidance!
