fastai Deep Learning Study Group - SF

Details
This is a weekly Study Group where attendees have time to work on deep learning projects in a helpful and supportive environment. Many people who attend are using the fastai library on top of PyTorch to build models.
This group is for intermediate level coders and deep learning
newcomers to experienced practitioners. (Bring your laptop & charger!)
Agenda:
** 6:00 - 7:15 (1h 15m) Get settled and work on your project!
** 7:15 - 7:30 (15m) Welcome & round robin introductions
** 7:30 - 7:45 (15m) Chat with people who inspire you or your Kaggle teammates
** 7:45 - 9:00: (1h 15m) Get more work done!
We strongly recommend that deep learning newbies watch at least 3 fast.ai Deep Learning course videos (https://course.fast.ai/ ) and think about projects you are interested in before asking more experienced people for help. (https://www.kaggle.com/ is a great place for project ideas!)
Join our Slack Workspace (http://bit.ly/JoinSlackFastaiSFbay) and channel #sg-sf (stands for "study group - sf") for questions about logistics (flag @Deena & @Molly) or to share links. We prefer you post code on the forum (https://forums.fast.ai/).
If you avoid social media and therefore cannot signup via meetup, you are still welcome to these events, just show up and check in with the organizers.
