About us
The Indianapolis Python Meetup (“IndyPy”) is a leading national group promoting the Python programming language and connecting the Python community. Organized by Six Feet Up, IndyPy draws Python enthusiasts from the entire Midwest (and beyond via Zoom) for regular events. In 2022, we celebrated 15 years of success with 2,300 members.
We are learners, employers, and enthusiasts of all kinds. All skill levels are welcome: if you are interested in Python, we are interested in you! Our goal is to create an inclusive, respectful environment that invites participation from people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientations.

IndyPy: Cybersecurity Game Night 🛡️
SEP, 16080 Westfield Blvd, Carmel, IN, USTest your security instincts at the August edition of IndyPy.
We’ll be playing B0rks, an open source cybersecurity card game that turns real attack scenarios into fast, competitive team play. 🃏
Drawing from MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, and the Cyber Kill Chain, B0rks challenges players to identify threats, debate defenses, and propose credible mitigations.
In this interactive session, you’ll join a team and race through five kill-chain stages, from reconnaissance to coordinated response. Every attack slows you down until your team makes the case for a strong defense.
It's part game night, part security workshop, and all hands-on.
You’ll leave with practical threat and mitigation pairs your team can use for:
- Security conversations
- Tabletop exercises
- Onboarding
- Engineering decision-making
Plus, there will be pizza 🍕 and door prizes.
Think you know how to defend a system? Prove it.
Join us for this one-night, in-person-only experience. No stream. No recording. No "I'll catch the next one." To be part of the action, you need to be in the room.
RSVP now, and come ready to think like an attacker and defend like a pro.
Guests are welcome. Please have each person RSVP on their own Meetup account.
Learn more about the game at b0rks.com.
