We organize tech talks, live coding sessions, and social events about Python and its ecosystem.
We'll cover both beginner and advanced-level topics, so feel free to join regardless of your seniority. Our events are not formal, and we love building a community that has fun meeting together.

Code of conduct
All delegates, speakers, exhibitors, and volunteers at Python Bari are required to comply with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. In short, Python Bari is dedicated to providing a harassment-free meetup experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Descrizione:
AirCast è un'applicazione che unisce previsioni meteo, monitoraggio della qualità dell’aria e intelligenza artificiale. Il backend è sviluppato in Python, mentre il frontend in Next.js, con una chat basata su LLM in grado di suggerire attività personalizzate e sincronizzarle con servizi come Google Calendar. Durante il talk, il team illustrerà le scelte architetturali, le librerie Python adottate, le sfide tecniche affrontate e presenterà una demo live. La presentazione sarà articolata in tre sezioni: Backend (Python), Frontend (Next.js) e AI (LLM), con spazio per domande interattive.

Un'esplorazione dettagliata del mondo delle licenze software: dalle open source come MIT, GPL e Apache, alle licenze proprietarie. Il talk fornirĂ strumenti concreti per scegliere consapevolmente una licenza, illustrando implicazioni pratiche e principi come copyright, copyleft e permissivitĂ . Un tema spesso trascurato ma cruciale nello sviluppo software.

Description:
AirCast is an app that combines weather forecasts, air quality monitoring, and artificial intelligence. The backend is built in Python and the frontend in Next.js, featuring an LLM-powered chatbot that suggests weather-appropriate activities and syncs them with services like Google Calendar. During the talk, the team will walk through key architectural decisions, Python libraries used, technical challenges, and deliver a live demo. The presentation is structured in three parts: Backend (Python), Frontend (Next.js), and AI (LLM), with time for interactive Q&A.

Core legal concepts such as copyright, copyleft, and permissiveness will also be addressed.
