Devs Day Upper West

Devs Day Upper West!
Beyond Boundaries: Driving Inclusive Tech for the Upper West

The Upper West has talent. What it has lacked are places to meet, learn from each other, and build together. Devs Day Upper West is our answer to that.
Organized by Python-WA, the Python Ghana community in Wa, this is the first event of its kind in the region. It brings developers, students, and anyone curious about technology together for a full day of learning, conversation, and connection.

Why we're doing this
For a long time, anyone in the Upper West who wanted to get into tech had to do it alone, with very little local support and few people nearby to learn from. Python-WA started as a small group trying to change that. Devs Day is the next step: a bigger room, more people, and a clear message that you don't have to leave the region to be part of the tech community.

Get involved
We are looking for sponsors and partners who want to help build tech where it has been overlooked, and for speakers and volunteers who want to be part of the first Devs Day in the region.
To sponsor, partner, or volunteer, write to us at [wa@pythonghana.org](mailto:wa@pythonghana.org).

Stay in the loop
Join this group to get updates as details are confirmed, and share the event with someone in the Upper West who should be there.
We look forward to seeing you in Wa.
