Title: Python as a Research Workhorse: From Data to Optimal Control in Smart City Systems

Python is often seen as a glue language for automation and data analysis, but in research it becomes a powerful platform for modeling, optimization, and control. We show how it is used to build advanced decision-support and control algorithms for large-scale technical systems – starting from real-world measurements and nonlinear system models, we move through machine learning and optimization-based control, illustrating how these pieces come together in real smart city applications.
We will take a behind-the-scenes look at how advanced control solutions are built, tested, and deployed in complex, real-world systems.

We are in for a treat! Join us on Tuesday at MaMa to hear researchers from FER share their experiences from projects they did with industry partners solving real-world problems on a scale. Drinks and friendly discussion afterwards at Old Pharmacy Pub 🍻🍷🥤☕️
