What we're about

The Python User Group in Belgium is a community of Python enthusiasts who come together to learn, share, and discuss all things Python. Members of the group range from beginner to advanced levels, and everyone is welcome to join. The group meets on a regular basis to learn from presentations and workshops, share their own experiences and projects, and network with other members. In the future, the group might also host regular events such as hackathons and coding competitions, to promote Python and its uses. Whether you are a seasoned developer or just starting out with Python, the Python User Group in Belgium is the place to be for anyone interested in the language.

The focus is on knowledge sharing and community building, commercial intents are frowned upon. All events are entirely free-of-charge.

Python User Group meetup #3

ICAB Incubator

We’re very happy to announce the third Python User Group meetup! 🚀 🐍

This time the event will take place in Brussels, in a very special location: the ICAB incubator, where many successful Belgian companies started! 🎉

To add an extra touch of uniqueness to the event, we are thrilled to announce our exceptional lineup of speakers ❤️:

  • From Inbox to Insights: Charlotte Nachtegael will delve into using pandas and seaborn to investigate email data;
  • Serverless GPUs: Raphael Vorias will explore some of the serverless GPU providers and showcase their functionality with Modal;
  • We're in a bit of a pickle: Héloïse Baudhuin will show us how a vulnerability of the pickle module can give an attacker full acces to your computer.

We have a limited capacity of 55 people for this event. To ensure a seat, we kindly invite you to subscribe only if you are committed to attending 🤗
And of course don't forget to share the event with friends and family 💃

See you soon! 🍻
