Python Practitioners SIG

Details
A gathering of active practitioners (professional and amateur) to talk shop. These meetings offer the opportunity to meet with like-minded others, eg suiting folk working from home, and those working in an organisation where you might be 'the only one'.
It is a café-style virtual meeting (if you haven't previously, please review this explanatory document discussing participation and expectations).
We gain insight from others, and develop professional relationships. Discussion will generally be focused on Python-related topics but will not exclude matters related to the wider professional environment, eg the New Zealand industry, situation, and environment, aspects of Python projects planned, under-development, and operational, etc.
All participants are expected to contribute to the discussion and to attend regularly. So, you will need a head-set! Starting promptly, we will go 'around the room asking three questions:
1. What did you achieve since our last meeting?
2. What do you plan to do before our next meeting?
3. What is a questions or challenges do you face, or discussion-topic would you like to discuss?
We'll record the latter topics and decide as a group which are of
widest interest, and therefore should be tackled earlier.
Remember, the café style isn't just about the meeting format; it's about creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable expressing themselves
Meeting participants are expected to comply with the Python New Zealand Code of Conduct.
As there are necessarily a limited number of participants please do not RSVP unless you really plan to attend. Also please have the courtesy to un-RSVP if you know will not be attending.
