Job Summary

The mid level software engineer will provide services daily including architecture and software development as a part of Geocent's clients based on their software needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

This person will hit the ground running and work on various initiatives, applications and emerging technologies. The development team releases code everyday so this position will require someone that can build new features and iterate quickly who strives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

*Must be a United States Citizen with Active or Interim DOD Clearance or willing to obtain clearance with a non-guaranteed contingent job offer for up to 90 days
*

• Demonstrated experience developing web-based applications following the MVC pattern
• Strong experience programming in Python and Django
• Experience with Javascript technologies such as: jQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS
• Knowledge of web development technologies or applicable frameworks.
• Exposure to databases
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or scientific discipline (or 5+ years of related experience)

Preferred Skills

Implementation of DoD Cyber Security requirements in web applications (preferred)

Experience with modern software web development and dev processes, like:
