There’s a reason queer people have been showing up for Rocky Horror for generations. It’s weird, funny, excessive, and full of people who refuse to fit neatly into anyone else’s idea of normal. Over time, audiences made it their own: dressing up, finding each other, and turning a night at the theater into a place to belong.
This October, Queer Arts Club is getting together for The Rocky Horror Show. We’ll start with a cocktail party at 6:30 PM so you can meet the people you’re going with, then head into the theater for the 8:00 PM performance.
Dress for the theme! Fishnets, corsets, glitter, dramatic makeup, or your own take on a Rocky Horror character are all welcome. Have fun with it. Bring a friend, a date, or just yourself.
