About us
The purpose of this group is as follows:
• To create an organization to bring together both working and aspiring software developers.
• Present a diverse set of opinions and levels of expertise to attendees.
• To provide informal information sharing related to architecting and writing software code across a variety of platforms, operating systems, programming languages, use-cases, businesses, and personal uses.
• All development methodologies are welcome, from writing code through utilization of artificial intelligence to build software.
• Discuss topics surrounding software development such as quality assurance, developer operations, deployment, scaling, high availability, databases, monitoring, monetizing, open source, proprietary, career development, and more are all welcome.
• Presenters shall be drawn from various volunteers from the software development industry, education institutions, professionals and non-professionals attending meetings as well as presenters from sponsoring organizations.
• Build relationships that encourage members to work together professionally outside of group events.
Items this group is not being established for:
• To present specific platforms, operating systems, or programming languages from a specific technology stack or vertical without exploring others.
• Define commercial or open source as preferred.
• Provide formal education for attendees.
• Generate income or profit for any organizers or attendees for activities within the group.
