What we’re about
This group is for everyone who is seriously interested in studying, understanding, and applying Quantum Computing. We will be studying from textbooks and papers, making occasional presentations, and collaborating on projects.
We hope to bring together practitioners from diverse scientific fields such as Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Information Theory, Game Theory, Probability, et cetera.
A lot of the required mathematics and physics will be developed in our studies, however, some prerequisites will be assumed. At the minimum, you should be familiar with complex algebra and linear algebra. Some exposure to programming, probability theory, and/or quantum mechanics would be helpful.
Join us for an exciting virtual session dedicated to quantum computing! This week's event will include:
🔹 Introductions (10–15 minutes): Connect with other participants and share your passion for quantum computing.
🔹 Featured Presentation:
- Guest speaker Dr. Benjamin Delsol with Jasmine as lead discussion moderator on the Quantum Stellium Pretension about Intangible Assets Due Diligence for Family Offices & Investors;
🔹 Sneak Peek at Future Meetings: upcoming weekly topics such as:
- TBD
📌 Duration: Approximately 1.5 hour
💡 Registration: Please RSVP to receive the online event link.
✅ Past Meeting 1: Vesselin shared his experience in quantum computing, highlighting involvement in hackathons and mentoring for QOSF (Quantum Open Source Foundation) projects since 2020.
✅ Past Meeting 2: The talk was on the history of Computing, Physics and Quantum Physics culminating into the idea of Quantum Computing;
✅ Past Meeting 3: The talk was on the Future of Quantum Computing;;
✅ Past Meeting 4: The talk on Quantum Computing for business professionals was by Ron Schreiner CTO at ACUMEDX and Co-Founder and CQTO of B2Quantum.
