Come to a local Queens Libertarians Meetup on the second Saturday of each month to share your opinions on today's political climate and issues, and learn how you can contribute to America's political future. Active since the mid-90's, our independent group is focused on continuing monthly pro-liberty education and advocacy programs, fundraising, and other projects to support and develop the local party and movement. Four Founding Fathers Who Advanced Liberty

Join LPQC for a lively discussion led by Dr. Philip Schoenberg on the first four US Presidents on February 14 at noon, at our Astoria location, Stamatis Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant at 29-09 23rd Avenue (in the back area, menu details at stamatisrestaurant.net), titled "Four Founding Fathers Who Advanced Liberty." This address will follow its monthly business session, covering Queens LP planning and subcommittee updates.

Schoenberg describes the talk this way: "America has many Founding Fathers. Many advocated Liberty while owning slaves. Today. We will discuss four Founding Fathers, imperfect as they were, who advanced the cause of liberty. They created a new, the United States of America, based upon the concept. These Founding Fathers had aspirations that the USA would become a shining city on a hill as a shining example of liberty as we Americans all strive to perfect their vision for all." QL/LPQC meets for its monthly luncheon on the second Saturday of each month. While we may pass the hat, there is no mandatory donation. However, all attendees must purchase $10.00 or more in food and drink over the two hour period (don't forget to tip!). There is street parking and the place is centrally located. You can travel there by taking the N subway train to the last stop at Astoria-Ditmars Blvd, or taking the nearby Q69 bus to 31st St (in both cases walk 1 block to 23rd Avenue).
