Queens Libertarians (Founded October 6, 1994)

Join the Libertarian Party of Queens County (LPQC) for its "Fundraising and Early Candidate Search Planning Meeting" on August 9 at noon, at our Astoria location, Stamatis Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant at 29-09 23rd Avenue (menu details at stamatisrestaurant.site/). This session will elaborate on goals and concepts reviewed at the July meeting towards achieving a successful petition drive in 2026 to acquire ballot status for Queens and statewide LPNY candidates. Both mail and event functions will be considered and developed at the luncheon.

Prospective candidates for office next year are also invited to attend to provide an overview of their backgrounds and resources. Area fundraisers and event planners (TBA) have also been approached to appear to go over the logistics of preparing functions to be held in fall 2025 and winter 2026 to raise enough to support local petition and membership efforts over the next 12 months. We hope you can also share your own ideas or other contributions to bring more liberty to Queens in this discussion!

QL/LPQC meets for its monthly luncheon on the second Saturday of each month. While we may pass the hat, there is no mandatory donation. However, all attendees must purchase $10.00 or more in food and drink over the two hour period (don't forget to tip!). There is street parking and the place is centrally located. You can travel there by taking the N subway train to the last stop at Astoria-Ditmars Blvd, or taking the nearby Q69 bus to 31st St (in both cases walk 1 block to 23rd Avenue).

Join us for the Libertarian Party of Queens County (LPQC) full general meeting on September 13 at noon, at our Astoria location, Stamatis Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant at 29-09 23rd Avenue (menu details at stamatisrestaurant.site/). This official LP county committee function will further develop fall and winter goals for 2026, with status reports from the officers, and where committee or subcommittee members are to be appointed.

Attendees are asked to pay/renew dues of $20 to LPQC by or during the proceedings in order to vote. In this session members will again be offered to serve as key persons or "team members" for the following positions: media contact, membership/fundraising, candidate/activist outreach, youth/campus outreach, community/business outreach. Please attend, and volunteer to help in one of these areas! Hope to see you there!
