Come join our island of misfit queers as we host free community events!

Our flagship event is:

**Tarp in the Park** - fun in the sun (or shade) queer picnic with socializing, music, refreshments, art&crafts, games, and more (Held the Second Sunday of each month - from Easter to Halloween - weather permitting)!

We kickoff each new year on Easter Sunday with our special **Tarp in the Park** - Misfits Bunny Edition! Think springtime queer picnic party vibes with socializing, thematic accoutrements, arts & crafts, a piñata, adult beverages, food, snacks, and more (Every Easter Sunday - Weather Permitting)!

We close each year with our special Queer Misfits Holiday - Craft Party. All the festivities, fixings, community, and crafting one may need to start their holiday season off right! Come play with us as we learn new skills, make and take home a unique gifts, and elevate local lgbtq+ artist, and more. This event is our small thank you to our fellow misfits who help our community thrive each year (Held the Second Sunday of December - indoor event)!

Additional events may be peppered throughout the year and sometimes include: happy hours, costumes contest, art demonstrations/workshops/tutorials, historic/Nature walks, and more. If you have a idea for an event, let us know. We might be able to help it come to fruition!
