Queer Partner Dance NYC

Hey friends,
Pride Salsa presents Intermediate NY Style On2 Salsa Dance classes for Queer Folx and Allies by Queer folx and Allies!! We are Straight friendly ;)

When? Where?
Sunday 4:00-5:15pm at Houghton Hall Arts Community in NoMad, Manhattan.

What?
These are drop-in classes built on Salsa On2 advanced beginner technique: great for folks that have strong fundamentals in NY style Salsa On2 with at least 1 year of training and social dancing. Each month we explore a particular partnering and footwork concept.
4:00-4:35 - Footwork combo
4:35-5:15 - Partner work combo

Who?
Your instructor will be Vimal (he/him) and Aubrie (she/her). They have extensive knowledge and passion for Salsa dance with a lot of experience in performing, competing, teaching and social dancing.

Sunday 5:15-6:45pm at Houghton Hall Arts Community in NoMad, Manhattan.

What?
These are drop-in classes built on Salsa On2 Fundamentals: great for folks that have some experience in NY style Salsa On2 or our current students that completed 2 cycles for our Beginner classes. Each month we explore a particular partnering concept.
5:15-5:50 - Rhythm drill and footwork
5:50-6:30 - Partner work
6:30-6:45 - Open Floor Practica
7pm onwards - Happy hour drinks/bites at a nearby spot

Your instructor will be Vimal (he/him) and Elie (he/him). They have extensive knowledge and passion for Salsa dance with a lot of experience in performing, competing, teaching and social dancing.

Sunday 6:30-8pm at Houghton Hall Arts Community in NoMad, Manhattan.

What?
Drop-in classes on Salsa On2 Fundamentals: great for absolute beginners, folks looking for a refresher course and experienced Salsa On1 dancers wanting to transition into NY Salsa On2.
6:30-6:45pm - Sign in
6:45-7:20pm - Rhythm drill and footwork
7:20-8:00pm - Partner work
8pm onwards - Socializing at a nearby bar for drinks and food
