We’re excited to announce that TASTE Takeover is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Washington, DC, dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces for the LGBTQIA+ Latinx community in the nation’s capital and surrounding areas.

TASTE Takeover is committed to:
• Promoting equality through events and programs
• Providing resources to our community
• Fostering a sense of belonging
• Advancing the well-being and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ Latinx individuals
While we primarily cater to queer Latinx womxn, everyone is welcome! Our goal is to create spaces where we can be ourselves, connect, and celebrate our diverse community.

Join Our Pride Float!
Washington USA Washington, DC, Washington, DC, USJoin TASTE Takeover and Mamacita Festival for our Queer Latina Pride Float during World Pride 2026. This celebration is created for lesbians, sapphic women, queer Latinas, and WLW to come together in pride, music, and community during one of the most powerful moments of the year.
This float is for women ONLY.

As soon as the official schedule is announced we will update everyone with exact timing and lineup information.
We will be returning with the same beautiful 40 ft flatbed float from last year that many of you remember. It was filled with incredible energy, flags, dancing, and Latin music that brought our community together in a truly unforgettable way.
Last year the demand was extreme and spots sold out quickly, so this year we have adjusted pricing slightly due to the increased demand and higher production costs for the float, sound, and overall experience. Space on the float is limited and once spots are gone they are gone.
Expect Latin music DJs, dancing, celebration, and an incredible Pride parade experience with our vibrant queer Latina community.
