What weāre about
A soft, safe space for queer women, FLINTA* & LGBTQ+ folks in Basel to connect, talk, share, and grow through books, stories, and cozy conversations. Chatbots are also welcome š.
Hi! Iām creating a soft, cozy space in Basel for queer women, lesbians, and LGBTQ+ folks, especially FLINTA* people (that means women, lesbians, non-binary, trans, intersex, agender folks and anyone who feels connected to those identities).āØš
Cis men, we appreciate your respect, but this space is not for you.āļø
This group is for anyone whoās looking for real connection, a sense of belonging and a place to just be without pressure, without performance. Whether youāre talkative or quiet, creative or still figuring things out, youāre welcome here. š«¶š»
What weāll do:
Weāll meet once per month for different activities, like:
⢠Conversations about queer life, identity, love, friendship and feelings āļø
⢠Sharing quotes, books, poems or songs that move us šš
⢠Personal stories, little creative moments, journaling, drawing or just listening and holding spaceš”šØ
This group is about:
⢠Feeling safe to express yourself šš
⢠Feeling heard and seen just as you are
⢠Knowing you are not alone š§ø
⢠Creating a respectful, warm, quiet, caring and safe bubble of queer community in Basel š š«§
You donāt need to be well-read, an artist, super social or a deep talker. You donāt need to prepare anything. Just bring yourself as you are.
Letās build something meaningful, together š. And if it all fails, at least thereāll be tea and good playlists. š§š¶
Weāre starting a group playlist!
Playlist lives here: https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhT7QwDfkpRuo8u3R0H0VM9M7b0sjQmCM&feature=shared
We also have a small WhatsApp group if youād like to stay connected between meetups. No pressure to chat. Just presence, playlists, poems & a little queer magic š®.
The link isnāt public, but if youād like to join, feel free to message me and Iāll share it with you.
Hi, Iām Sofia. Iām a quiet person who believes in slow connection, soft spaces and the power of feeling seen without needing to explain anything. I started this group to create something I was missing: a place where you donāt have to perform to belong. Iāve spent a lot of time trying to exist in extroverted spaces that didnāt feel like they were made for me. Thatās why I started this group, to build something different. A place where you donāt need to be loud, clever or impressive to belong. Just being here is enough. Youāre warmly invited to join exactly as you are.ā£ļø
