Queer Poets Society

Details
Let’s meet in a quiet circle to read, listen and feel together.
This evening is for poems, lyrics, queer voices and self expression. You’re invited to bring one thing that feels right to you:
• A queer poem
• A poem you love
• A poem you wrote yourself
• A song lyric or a quote that lives in your heart
• Or anything that feels poetic to you
If you don’t want to read it yourself, someone else can read it for you. No pressure to speak.
After the poetry round, we’ll play a few songs that people bring and maybe even sing them together or speak the lyrics aloud like poems.
This is not a performance space. It’s a little living room concert of feelings.
You can bring (optional):
• A warm drink or a mug, a blanket, a
scarf or something cozy
• A candle, if you feel like it
• Yourself, as you are
No stage. No judgment. Just poems, songs and queer presence.
I’ll be happy to sit in the circle with you, whether you come with a poem, a song or just your quiet presence.
There’s a theme, but no expectations.
You can share, listen, write, drink tea, play a song, or just be quiet.
The space is here for whatever you need.
I also created a digital group just for poetry, called Queer Poet Society. You can find it on the Geneva app. Feel free to join if that’s your thing!
