Queering Healthcare Discussion
Details
Join us on the 4th Thursday of the month for our fourth of a four-part discussion series focusing on exploring queer topics in healthcare.
The discussion series aims to discuss healthcare experiences and research from a systematic perspective, highlighting the intersections of fatphobia, ageism, gender normativity, racism, transphobia, homophobia, heteronormativity, citizenship status, socioeconomic status, disability, and neurotypicality.
Each discussion will focus on selected chapters from The Remedy: Queer and Trans Voices on Health and Health Care and The Care We Dream Of: Liberatory and Transformative Approaches to LGBTQ+ Health both edited by Zena Sharman, along with selected articles on LGBTQ+ health research.
