Modelface Comedy brings you the best comedians from all over the country! This week we have Kendall Farrell from NYC!

Kendall Farrell is a New York City based standup comedian from Vermont. He was named a ‘Comic To Watch’ at the New York Comedy Festival and headlined Caroline’s on Broadway as part of their Breakout Artist series. He has been heard on SiriusXM as well as seen in web content for Cracked and Cracked, Adult Swim, and at comedy festivals across the country including the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, TreeFort Festival, and Red Clay Comedy Festival, among others. He has opened for headliners including Michelle Wolf, Rachel Feinstein, Beth Stelling, Ashley Gavin, Matteo Lane & more.
In his home state Kendall won the Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest and was profiled in Seven Days for his work hosting some of the most popular local shows. In New York, Kendall has performed on some of the most acclaimed shows in the city including at Caroline’s, The Stand, New York Comedy Club, Comedians You Should Know, Littlefield, and at UCB and Union Hall. He also regularly hosts the popular weekly show “Just Come.”

Modelface Comedy brings the best comedians from all over the country to Asheville and this weekend we are excited to host The Unteachables Comedy Tour at the Funkatorium!

One was teacher of the year and the other got fired for posting jokes online. They’re unhinged, uncensored, and unforgettable. The Unteachables bring you a night of comedy and unfiltered QnA. Known to you as the students who were always the loud kids in the back of the classroom, the Unteachables are a group of stand-up comedians who just happened to fall backwards into educating America’s youth. Their material extends far beyond just the chaos that exists in their classroom. They offer authentic comedy to everyone, regardless of if they've worked in education, need a break from reality, or just love to laugh. The Unteachables have been featured on NBC, The Breakfast Club, The New York Post, and the Roast Battle League.

Stephen Taylor
Originally a Louisiana native, Stephen moved to Kansas City to escape his traditional southern roots. Combining his unique perspective with some interesting stories and some sweet southern charm, Stephen headlines and features at your favorite clubs, bars, and colleges across the country, as well as his own classroom. He has been featured on The Breakfast Club, The New York Post, and at San Francisco Sketchfest. His debut album 'The Bottom Half' was number one on iTunes and can be heard on Sirius XM

Lou Pharis
Raised in the non-famous parts of Louisiana, Lou Pharis never thought he’d be anything more than an NFL caliber offensive lineman. After failing to go pro and then losing out on American Ninja Warrior, Lou turned his talents to the public education system. A particularly rough day at school made Lou sign up for his first open mic when he realized there’s a teacher shortage, so he couldn’t be fired for doing comedy. Lou’s stand-up has since found massive success, garnering over 100 million views on social media. He has headlined clubs such as Zanies, Comedy Works, and Wiseguys, been seen on NBC and Bored Teachers, and has performed at dozens of comedy festivals across the country.

Joe Mckenna
Joe McKenna is a comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. One of the fastest rising comics in Denver, Joe utilizes his experience as a middle school teacher and traveler to recount his most bizarre undergoings with his students, his time spent abroad, and the ever changing social expectations of the youth. Joe has been seen at comedy clubs across the US, and has worked with household comedians such as Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Jeff Ross.

Greetings everyone! Let’s get together and craft while snacking on pie! You can bring whatever craft you’re into, though please don’t bring anything too big/messy (e.g. no mural painting) since we want everyone to have space to work and need to leave the place spotless!

The Baked Pie Company has an ever rotating selection of award-winning pies (as well as quiche and salad); they even have pie flights! They also feature sugar free, gluten free, keto and vegan pies for those with dietary needs. So let's grab a slice of pie and build some community!

Don't worry if you can't make this one, though! It’s a monthly event; you'll have plenty of chances to get your pie on :)
