Final Picnic in the Park of 2025

Denver’s Radically Open Embodied Relating Meetup brings together aspects of Radical Honesty, Radically Open DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Authentic Relating and more to practice open-hearted discussion and exercises that help us connect deeply in new ways, grounded in our bodies & senses, not just our minds.

In the warmer months, we often meet outside at Barnum Park, and this is likely the final month where we'll have sufficient warmth and light, so bring a blanket, a snack or beverage, and help us ring-in the end of summer with one last picnic in the park.

This meetup is focused on identifying the many ways we’ve learned to avoid fully experiencing the here and now, and to build new habits aimed at building an authentic, intimate connection to others and a full-bodied acceptance of every part of ourselves, which leads to more full connection with and acceptance of others.

This month we'll likely focus on Joy Academy, a new exercise aimed at increasing the joy in the world by teaching each other how to give and receive joy.
