Begin your web development journey by learning some basic code and using those skills to build your own Choose-Your-Own-Adventure game with HTML, CSS, and Javascript!
This is a 2-or-3-part event where we we will introduce basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript concepts and practice them by building a game on Codepen (http://codepen.io/). Each event will start with a brief lecture on useful syntax that you will need to know to build this game, followed by time to practice and build.
Complete beginners are encouraged to come!
The only thing you need to bring is your own laptop. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
This Part 1 event will just cover HTML and CSS.
