Queer RPGs Club
Details
Queer creators, queer themes, queer players.
Each Month we'll play a specific game from an LGBTQIA+ Designer. Before and after the game, we'll take a little bit of time to discuss the game and reflect on its queer themes. It's a little bit like a book club (but no need to read the game in advance unless you want to).
For October, we'll be playing Voidheart Symphony, by Minerva McJanda.
In Voidheart Symphony (which takes heavy inspiration from the Persona series of video games), we play as rebels who delve into a psychic labyrinth to fight against the all-too-human evils that pervade your city. We will play the introductory adventure "Kill or Cure", which has rebels tangle with a corrupt doctor.
Content Note: Voidheart Symphony "Kill or Cure" features medical procedures (injections, surgery, IV drips, etc), medical malpractice, ableism, violaiton of bodily autonomy, gatekeeping, abuse of power, institutional bigotry, and invasion of privacy. Safety tools will be used.
