Details

The Rajmachi trek is not just a hike; it is an immersive experience that showcases the grandeur of the Western Ghats, offering splendid views that captivate trekkers throughout the journey. This trek is particularly enchanting during the monsoon season when the landscape transforms into a lush green paradise, with waterfalls cascading down rocky cliffs and the air filled with the scent of wet earth and blooming flora. The vibrant colors of nature come alive, creating a picturesque backdrop that enhances the overall trekking experience.

After an invigorating hike, the trek leads to the base village of Udhewadi, a quaint settlement that provides an authentic glimpse into rural life. Here, trekkers have the opportunity to engage with the local community, experiencing their warm hospitality and traditional lifestyle. Staying in a homestay within the village allows visitors to savor local cuisine. This culinary experience not only nourishes the body but also enriches the soul, as it connects trekkers with the cultural heritage of the region.

The descent towards the Karjat region is a bit enduring, but the view along the trail offer great relaxation and rejuvenation.
