Naneghat and reverse waterfall Trek

Details
Naneghat, dating back to the Satavaahana period, was a crucial trade route between Junnar and the Konkan region, facilitating commerce and cultural exchange. Its thumb-shaped pinnacle, visible from the Nagar-Kalyan highway, attracts trekkers and history enthusiasts, highlighting the area's rich heritage. Naneghat boasts ancient caves used by travelers and cisterns for rainwater storage, showcasing past architectural ingenuity and resourcefulness. Starting near Vaishakhare village on the Ahmednagar highway, the trail features waterfalls and lush greenery, especially vibrant during monsoons. Enjoy the breathtaking views, well-marked paths, and opportunities for nature photography.
Upon arriving at Naneghat, we will continue our hike toward the Reverse Waterfall. Later, we'll enjoy a homemade lunch before beginning our descent back to the trek's starting point.
