The Carousel, 25 Hockley, NG1 1FH, United Kingdom, Nottingham, GBI'm delighted to announce that Rambling Cinema is officially back after a brief hiatus this summer for personal reasons - thank you all so much for bearing with me!
We're heading back to Carousel with a spy documentary to collaborate with Cinema Year Zero's magazine Totally Spies! Here to prove that documentaries can be spy thrillers too - as well as funny, exciting and heartwarming - is the Chilean nursing home documentary The Mole Agent.
PAY WHAT YOU FEEL TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE
When a family suspects their mother isn't being looked after properly in a Chilean nursing home, 83 year old Sergio is hired to go undercover, pretending to be a resident in the home to find out the truth. As Sergio struggles to embrace the role of a spy and gets closer to the residents of the home, he discovers what's really going on in this touching, beautiful, funny and ridiculous true story.
Every ticket comes with a free copy of Cinema Year Zero's latest magazine, with articles on the villains, femmes fatales, spoofs and gadgets of the spy genre throughout cinema.
Doors open at 7:30 with the film starting at 8pm (a little later than usual to avoid the summer sunshine), but remember to stick around afterwards for a drink and a chat, as always! Tickets are pay what you feel as always - grab one here.
