Run for the Beaches 5K Volunteer Opportunity

VOLUNTEER-VOLUTEER-VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! The Run for the Beaches event on December 6 is in full swing after canceling last year. You can sign up to run, walk, volunteer, or donate on the website Run for the Beaches 5K & Fun Run/Walk. This is a non-profit organization, and proceeds benefit the Gulf Beaches ecosystem, Seabirds, Marine Life & endangered sea turtles. This is a new site venue held in Gulf Front Parking lot due to Thunderbird still in the rebuilding process. Our little board of four have been working our tails off this year to make this a successful event, and we need YOU! There is a volunteer tab on the website and lots of opportunities to help. 'Taste of TI' with several local restaurants and businesses will be on site to offer up food, beverages, coupons, and giveaways for participants and volunteers. 'No Filter' band will play at 9am. Free Parking. It will be a great time and beneficial to Treasure Island. We hope we can count on you! If you sign up for this, you will need to access the website and select your volunteer position.
